Fae Kontje-Gibbs: “Wishes for Children”
Art Exhibit
Fae crafted her wishing flags, inspired by Tibetan prayer flags - that are traditionally used to spread goodwill and blessings - she uses pieces of recycled fabrics to transform her art into a flag that represents symbols of hope for our children. Wishes as a light in darkness and a spark that can light the fire of change as each wishing flag is a wish for healing, for freedom, for joy, and a gratitude for the gifts of her life and the urge to share them.
The Wishing Flags are not only beautiful creations but also a force for good. 70% of proceeds from their sales go to contributing to our Kenya Schoolhouse Program, which gives children access to education and the chance to a brighter future.
